Criteria for selecting farming households

Fairness principle

• If households meet the criteria, FHF will accompany them - regardless of whether they are acquaintances or strangers.
• If acquaintances are excluded even though they meet the criteria, it is unfair.
• At that time, acquaintances will feel discriminated against; and volunteers and benefactors will also worry that their relatives will not have the opportunity to receive support from FHF VN in the future, even if they meet the criteria.
• Once trust is lost, FHF VN will find it difficult to maintain connection and sustainable development.
• FHF VN believes that true kindness begins with fairness. If FHF VN refuses even qualified acquaintances, while willing to help strangers, then it is no longer fair but just a formality. Therefore, FHF VN affirms: every farmer, whether acquaintances or strangers, has the same right to accompany when meeting the criteria.

From the very beginning, when FHF VN was just an idea on paper, it was the trust and financial and material support from acquaintances that gave FHF VN the opportunity to start. Thanks to that companionship, FHF VN gradually became a reality. Therefore, FHF VN's companionship with acquaintances in the seed delivery phase is not only reasonable, but also a way to show fairness and gratitude to the benefactors who have placed their trust in FHF VN from the beginning.
